Hello prospective students!
Welcome to my website and thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me.
I am an American-born linguist and English language teacher who has been living in, working in and exploring Moscow for well over two years.
Experienced in conducting all sorts of language and literature courses, my main focus is teaching Business and General English (at all levels) to individuals or in group settings. I teach primarily using American English, which comes with a whole set of idioms, expressions and collocations that are noticeably different from British, Australian and Canadian variants. Whether it is learning to say "toMAYto" (tomato) as well as "toMAHto," "pretty good" in addition to "rather good," or "simply very tired" as compared to "knackered," my courses are designed to give you a specific American linguistic and cultural experience which will enrich the British-based language experience that many of you had at school.
